Veterans and First Responders
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. Veterans are particularly vulnerable to PTSD due to the nature of their military service.
Feeling anxious is a normal part of life. Anxiety disorders involve more than occasional worry or fear. For people with these disorders, anxiety does not go away, is felt in many situations, and can get worse over time.
Moral injury is the psychological, emotional, or spiritual distress that arises when someone feels they have violated their own deeply held moral beliefs or witnessed actions that go against their core values.
