Rides & Retreats
Rides
Rides will include 6-10 applicants for a single day motorcycle excursion. Dates, locations and routes will be determined by the board but will typically consist of a 100+ mile ride broken up with fuel/food/sightseeing stops along the way. The ride route will be made available to all riders and will be supervised by board members of the Knees in the Breeze Foundation. The goal of the rides will be to provide the riders with a network of people they can reach out to for help in the future with any issues they may be dealing with.
Retreats
Retreats will include 6-10 applicants selected by the board for a multiple day motorcycle excursion including 1-2 overnight stay. Each day will consist of a 100-300 mile ride which will be broken up for food/fuel/sightseeing stops along the way. During the overnight stays we will gather for group discussions and provide more information on ways to deal with any issues they may be dealing with and to provide information on resources available to them. The daily route and overall route will be provided to each rider and will be supervised by board members of the Knees in the Breeze foundation.
veteran support
Veteran Support are gatherings hosted by Knees in the Breeze Foundation in collaboration with other organizations to bring together Veterans with PTSD, Anxiety, and Moral Injury. This is an opportunity to hear about ways to cope with PTSD, Anxiety, and Moral Injury, and also a time to allow Veterans to listen to who have been there.
